4th of July Baby Blessing= Full House

Mom, Dad, Megan, Lance, Kaylee, and Emma all made the trip to Twin Falls for Emmitt's blessing on fourth of July weekend. I was so excited when Megan and Lance decided last minute to come, this meant I got to meet my new little niece Emma who is only three weeks older than Emmitt. This is us posing as happy mommies.

We took everyone to Shoshone Falls

Always fun to ask someone to take your photo...he did a pretty good job. Both babies slept happily in the baby bjorns, but they are there even though all you can see are their skinny little legs danglin out.

Up the snake river.

My son loves to kiss kiss kiss. Grammy was happy to get one or two or three.

Brian's family (Mom, Dad, Melissa & Logan) arrived Saturday night and we all went out for some good old fashioned BBQ at a new grill we had never tried called Smokin Cowboys BBQ. This is Kaylee, apparently that is the only photo we took at this evenings activities.

The next morning was the 4th of July and the Sunday we blessed Emmitt. Brian had been preparing all week and we discussed what blessing we wanted for Emmitt. So with some great spiritual preperation and a little help or a lot of help from the Lord Brian gave a beautiful blessing in which Emmitt was given many wonderful future blessings. Number one in my thoughts was that he would be the peacemaker in our home and someone to calm down his very loud, very active older brother. We will see huh. And something Brian said not on his own but with great promptings was brothers and sisters....that's right looks like at least 5 kids for us. HAH! I always wanted a larger family so I guess this was the Lord's way of telling Brian, yes you are having more than four...which is the number he always says we are having to which I always say we will see...I want 5 or 6. Thank you to everyone who took part in the blessing of Emmitt and to all our family for being supportive and coming to visit us.

Thanks dad for rigging a tripod up so we could all be in this photo, I think duct tape was involved. Why I didn't bring one I am not sure.
That afternoon my Aunt Peggy drove up with my Grandma, and her two girls Monica and Micaela and youngest son Christian (my cousins) for our BBQ and to see the new babies of course. After lunch it was kind of funny all the women are out in the living room visiting while all the men went and took naps, go figure.
We kept it pretty low key this year and just drove over the firework show that the city does at CSI. Nothing compared to the Idaho Falls show but it was fun.

Cousins

Megan, Lance, Kaylee, & Emma decided last minute to come spend the 4th with us since we were blessing Emmitt that weekend. So glad you all came!! Braden and Kaylee had lots of fun together. There was lots of hugging...oh and a few kisses. Braden is a little too lovey sometimes, sorry Kaylee. Here are a few shoots of all the fun the cousins had.

Emmitt Brian Lundholm

This little boy always wants to chew on something so it was hard to get a closed mouth picture. And he is just so dang wiggley so this is all we could get this time around. I think I will wait until end of summer to do it again so he is a little bigger.

Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day Brian!! We love you so much! I am grateful to the wonderful father you are to our boys. Braden loves you and already tries to do everything just like you, I am sure Emmitt will be the same. I appreciate how much time you spend playing with the boys and being a part of every aspect of their lives. I know our children will have great memories of time spent with their daddy. So glad we get to be parents together, I certainly could not do it without you!
For Father's Day we spent it with just our little family of four and grilled filet migons and corn on the cob on the BBQ. We then enjoyed one of our favorite desserts fresh starwberries over pound cake with whipping cream, of course the real stuff NOT cool whip...which Braden helped me whip

We got daddy a few fun little things for his special day: two blue-ray DVDs (brian loves getting new blue-rays), a new outfit (he is wearing below), and a massage gift card...since he massages he never gets one himself...weird how that works out.
Happy Father's Day...glad I made it home before this special day...Emmitt.

Covered in Flour June 19th

In this weeks library books Braden picked out one about a mouse making cookies, so he wanted to make some too. So we went to the kitchen and got started baking. Braden always likes to help put each ingredient in the mixer. He is usually really careful and does a great job. I always turn the mixer on and I do a great job too. HA. Well Braden though he would help turn the mixer on after we put in the flour and well he turned it it up to high really fast and covered us in flour. We just laughed and Brian grabbed the camera.
This is our what happened/ oh no pose

The Circus is coming to town

A little circus came through Twin Falls and we got FREE tickets to it from Brian's work, YAY! So we took Braden and Emmitt to see the circus. We thought Braden should try cotton candy for the first time, and he loved it...of course cause it is nothing but sugar....why do I encourage these things:) Not photoed but there were two giant elephants that you could ride on. We asked Braden if he wanted to ride on one as he watched the other children there get in line. And he very quickly said no, I think he was a little scared to see how big elephants are in real life. Not quite the same as on Tarzan. We enjoyed being outside for the afternoon while we watched the little circus.
